Hi all! With all of the latest and greatest CHA releases hitting the shop in the past few weeks, it's been tricky narrowing down a few of my favorites. But today I am sharing with you some of Jenni Bowlin Studios latest scrap goodies; her collection of sequins, flatbacks, and gold rub-ons.
Here are a few cards I created using some of these items:
These cards came together really quickly and were so fun to make!
**OTHER SHOP ITEMS USED: PL Card Kit journaling cards-pink, yellow stripe, and houndstooth), Bella Blvd (star patterned paper and "hello" sticker tag).
Have a fabulous weekend! Happy Friday!
Hello, again! Melissa here again with you today with another installment of "Why Didn't I think of That"!
This is a quick tutorial using the 6x6 paper pads to create a quilted triangle pattern on the background of your card stock. You will need card stock, several 6x6 sheets of pattern paper, embellishments, picture(s), watercolors, and a die cutting machine.
1.) Gather your supplies.
2.) Cut the 6x6 pattern paper into various lengths and widths. The smaller patterns on the 6x6 sheets of paper work well for this "quilted" look. Make a pencil mark on the halfway point on side of the paper and then use your trimmer to cut from each opposite corner to the pencil mark.
4.) Lay the pattern paper triangles down and fit them against each other on your card stock.
5.) Stitch all the triangles down with your sewing machine. (If you do not have a sewing machine, you can hand stitch or you can just glue them down and use a pen to make the stitch marks.)
6.) Place your title in the upper left hand corner of your layout. I also used corresponding water colors to jazz up my title that I had cut out in white card stock.
7.) Cluster embellishments in the corners of your triangles.
And here is what the layout looks like in full with a couple of detail shots below it :-)
SUPPLIES USED: Lily Bee Sweet Shoppe 6x6 Paper Pad, My Mind's Eye Enamel Dots, Jenni Bowlin Flair Badges, Lily Bee Sweet Shoppe Labels, Lily Bee Sweet Shoppe Chipboard.
Thanks for stopping by!
Melissa here again with you today and I'm sharing a layout and a card I made using the new Jenni Bowlin gold Rub-on's that are now available in the shop!
I love these rub-on's! Gold is being seen everywhere these days: scrapbooking products, clothing, accessories...and I LOVE it! I used to only be a silver girl, but gold has taken my heart the past few months :-) Secondly, these rub-on's go on so very smoothly! I had no problems at all transferring them to my card stock.
SUPPLIES: White Card Stock, Kraft Card Stock, Bella Boulevard Pattern Paper, Jenni Bowlin Rub-on's, May Arts Ribbon, My Mind's Eye Enamel Dots.
The gold was just the perfect touch for this tribute layout. I used a bunch of neutral colors for this layout since the topic of it is not one that is bubbly or cheerful. But the gold rub-on's were just the thing to give it a little pop in a classy way.
How are you using your gold in your scrapbooking? We'd love to see!

Happy Tuesday!
Happy Tuesday!! Ginny here with another Everyday Life Documented blog post. The week I am focusing on today is a little departure from my norm. I only focused on one day of the week for the whole spread. It was a big day and I had tons of photos from the event, so I really wanted to get it all in. We had a family reunion a few weeks ago, it was an awesome day. I saw family that I hadn't seen in years and some family that I only get to see a few times a year. It is so hard living far away from everyone that I love, but I am so glad that I documented the occasion:)
I used a few of the Project Life Core editions from the shop. I love using those cards, it makes it so easy to put the week together!
I also used the new Bella Blvd. stickers. I love them!! There are so many cute sayings and fun colors!!
I also added a 6x12 insert with more photos. I used some Bella Blvd. papers to fill in the triangles.
I kept the jouranling pretty minimal on the 2 12x12 pages. I put an entire sheet of journaling on the other side of the 6x12. I won't be sharing it here today, since it includes some personal information. But it includes all that we did at the reunion, where everyone traveled from, the names & ages of all the kids that were there, and just some funny stories!! I really enjoyed putting this week together! Thanks for stopping by today :)

Thank you for stopping by Come On Get Crafty today! Have a fabulous weekend!
Happy Thursday, everyone! I'm here today with a little something I like to call the "anatomy of a layout".
For this page, I kept my design very simple by placing four of the Maggie Holmes Fabric Frames on my patterned paper in a grid design...
Next, I placed my photo in the top left frame and added a few embellishments that I knew I wanted to incorporate into my layout...
Then I added a few more embellishments and the rest of my title in the bottom left frame...
And finally, I added a journaling pocket in the bottom right frame and some rainbow washi tape in a few spots which I ended up stitching down using my sewing machine...
I also added a few strips of striped paper at the top and bottom, the "celebrate today" sticker on the cloud die-cut, and a few phrase stickers and ta-da! A completed layout in about 25 minutes!
I like how the simple grid design allowed for as much or as little embellishing as I wanted. In this case...a lot!!! You could also switch out more photos or journaling in the frames as well.
Shop Items Used: Fancy Pants "What A Wonderful Day" Collection (Astounding & Superb Patterned Paper, Decorative Bags, Ephemera Pack, Label Stickers), Lily Bee (Sweet Shoppe Circle & Tag Stickers), Jenni Bowlin (Doily Sequins), Freckled Fawn (Neon Enamel Dew Drop Stickers), Crate Paper (Maggie Holmes Fabric Frames), Pebbles (Lakeside Phrase Stickers), Elle's Studio (Saltwater Cut Outs)
I hope you enjoyed this little peak into my creative process :) Have a great day!
