The die cutting machines on the market today have opened up a whole new world to scrapbookers. For some, you may not have the means or the room to purchase and keep a die cutting machine. For those that don't own a die cutting machine I want to share an easy way to duplicate the look of the geometric backgrounds that are so popular right now.
On this layout, I simply cut three strips of paper to 10" x 2" and used a circle punch to punch multiple circles down the length of the strip. Using the same punch, I punched some circles in various pieces of patterned paper.
From here the fun begins...simply fill in the holes with the punched circles, add a favorite photo and embellish your layout.
This is so easy to do and could be done with a variety of shapes like hearts, stars or butterflies! I hope you'll give this a try.
Supplies used: Pebbles Lakeside collection (6x6 paper pad, Chalkboard paper, Accent Stickers, Phrase Stickers), Basic Grey (Candy Buttons, Mint Julep Bottle Cap Stickers)
This is a stunning page, Diane! Fabulous design and color scheme!
