Happy Thursday, everyone! I'm here today with a little something I like to call the "anatomy of a layout".
For this page, I kept my design very simple by placing four of the Maggie Holmes Fabric Frames on my patterned paper in a grid design...
Next, I placed my photo in the top left frame and added a few embellishments that I knew I wanted to incorporate into my layout...
Then I added a few more embellishments and the rest of my title in the bottom left frame...
And finally, I added a journaling pocket in the bottom right frame and some rainbow washi tape in a few spots which I ended up stitching down using my sewing machine...
I also added a few strips of striped paper at the top and bottom, the "celebrate today" sticker on the cloud die-cut, and a few phrase stickers and ta-da! A completed layout in about 25 minutes!
I like how the simple grid design allowed for as much or as little embellishing as I wanted. In this case...a lot!!! You could also switch out more photos or journaling in the frames as well.
Shop Items Used: Fancy Pants "What A Wonderful Day" Collection (Astounding & Superb Patterned Paper, Decorative Bags, Ephemera Pack, Label Stickers), Lily Bee (Sweet Shoppe Circle & Tag Stickers), Jenni Bowlin (Doily Sequins), Freckled Fawn (Neon Enamel Dew Drop Stickers), Crate Paper (Maggie Holmes Fabric Frames), Pebbles (Lakeside Phrase Stickers), Elle's Studio (Saltwater Cut Outs)
I hope you enjoyed this little peak into my creative process :) Have a great day!
You rocked the grid out!! Such a happy, fun layout! Loving all of the embellies and stitching here! :)
