Happy Tuesday!! Another Project Life update. This week I really focused on color! I usually don't use a tons of color on a PL spread, but I didn't have many photos this week and I had lots of pockets to fill up, so I had lots of empty space to focus on. 

                            

I started off with the Awesome and Adventure cards and pulled colors from those. I think if you have one or two cards with tons of colors you can pull it all together. 

                            
I used quite a few of the Studio Calico glittered star stickers, I really like the shine that they add!

                            

Wood veneer was another embellishment that I carried throughout the week as well. I used the Freckled Fawn tags, frames, and heart chips. I hope you all have a great week!!

Hello everyone!  I'm here today to share my "Everyday life. Documented." spread for Week 23 with you...

I've been staying up-to-date with my pocket page spreads by setting a few "ground rules" for myself and my process.  One "rule" is that I set aside time every week to work on my spread, usually on Sundays. 

Another "rule" is that I collect and gather all of the items I plan on using before I print out my photos.  This helps me determine what my color scheme or "theme" is going to be and that way I don't get halfway through my spread and end up searching for certain items or embellishments in specific colors or accents that I don't have on hand.  This is a HUGE timesaver for me! 

The only other "rule" I have is to have fun and not stress over my spread!  Some weeks I only have an hour or so to create, while others, I have an entire afternoon.  I try to keep it simple and to the point.  If I'm lacking photos or don't feel like journaling a lot one week, then I don't :)

How is your album coming along? Are you up to date? I can say for the moment that I am, woohoo! Don't ask me in a few weeks though ;) I know once school gets out for the summer things might get a little behind and that is OK! 

                       

This week I used some of the new Pebbles line Lakeside from the shop. I absolutley love this line and I know that I will use tons of it this summer! I love the colors and all of the fun embellishments. 

                        

                        
I also used the LilyBee line Sweet Shoppe, the letter stickers are perfect for PL. They are a great size. I love the chipboard stickers too, I used the banners on this photo about our new playground at our town park.

Happy Tuesday everyone! I am here with another week of Project Life. I tried something a little different this week. I tried to stick a color scheme-navy blue, orange and gray. Overall I pretty well stayed with those 3 colors. 

                       

I also realized that I hadn't taken many photos this week. So the sequence of pics of my daughter on the monkey bars really came in handy! I really like the way it turned out, I might have to try it again.

Welcome to another Tuesday post about documenting the everyday! I must admit that I am a little behind on my PL album and I am a little panicked. We are too busy living our everyday life to document it these days, but I know I will catch up and that is OK :) This was a different type of week for me because I was away from my kids most of the week. They usually take up most of my week, but it was a fun change to document what I did for the week.

Happy Tuesday, everyone! I'm sharing my February Project Life pages. While printing my photos for February I realized I didn't have enough square photos to fill two 12x12 pages  so I used one page for square photos, one 8 1/2 x 11 divided page protector with 3 spaces for larger photos and one 5.5 x 8.5 page protector for journaling.

In my album, I placed the 12x12 divided protector on the left, the 8.5 x 11 on the right and the smaller protector with my journaling in between those two pages.

 

The Jillibean Soup Label and Shape stickers are my go-to item for adding captions and shapes to my photos.

For the journaling card, I used one sheet of paper and punched numbers from one of the Jillibean sticker sheets to bullet the highlights of the month.

I hope this has shown you how flexible PL can be. You don't have to fill the same number of pages each month. Work with what you have and keep it stress free.

Nicole here with my very first attempt at Project Life. I was originally going to go with a monthly spread, but decided I had enough photos to do a weekly layout. The great thing about documenting your everyday life is there are no rules other than: do what works for you. :) I decided to use Monday's moodboard as a jumpstart for inspiration and just grabbed items that mostly fit into that color scheme. 
 

I also cut the page protectors down to fit my needs, as well. {All of my albums have different sized layouts mixed together, so this one will fit right in.}
